Our campaign "Million Pounds Worth Of Work" will bring together would be employers with prospective employees in North Yorkshire
With just over 153,000 people unemployed across North Yorkshire & the East Riding the Government is trying all it can to entice people back into employment, but with a skill set that matches the employee. Very little training is given by employers, who really need a quick fix in their company environment & this just dilutes the situation for the unemployed, leaving the candidate feeling worthless. Our campaign "Million Pounds Worth Of Work will bring together would be employers with prospective employees, ultimately getting more people into work again for 2018/2019.
Working alongside your business to deliver a voice for the unemployed. We aim to unite job seekers with employers, along with training and ultimately full time employment within that industry path chosen, thus creating a lasting legacy.
Our online portal will allow prospective employers to post job vacancies within their company. There is also a platform for candidates seeking work to post their CV, so we can direct them to the right potential employer. Each time a person is taken into employment, we will take that annual wage from the totaliser, with the main aim of creating a "million pounds worth of work". If the average wage was an estimated £15k, then it would take just 66 people to be placed into employment to create a "million pounds worth of work" within 12 months, an average of 5 people per month.
