Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Join us at the world's greatest airshow, one of the UK's premier outdoor events, with crowds in excess of 150,000 (sold out in 2015) for an extravaganza of entertainment for all the family. Alongside the thrilling flying action, visitors will be treated to non-stop entertainment including shopping malls, themed zones and exhibits across an approximate 2 mile/300+ acre showground. Be part of this spectacular airshow based at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire on 8-10 July 2016

What is the Marketing Objective?

To build brand awareness to a targeted and receptive audience. Linking brands to an established event, based on cutting-edge technology, top quality performance, excitement and innovation. Experiential - showcasing brands/products. Sponsorship opportunities - corporate and public areas. Sampling - reaching a wide ranging audience.

How does it work?

Available options include Sole sponsorship of: Themed zones (eg Adrenalin Zone, Autodrome); Public hospitality areas (eg Viewing Village, First Class Lounge); Disabled Enclosure; Lost & Found Children facilities; signage; event radio station; awards. Bespoke options can be created within the showground to target particular audiences. Promotional opportunities; sampling; client entertainment/staff incentives.

Who's used it in the past?

Past and present clients include - Breitling, Canon, Gillette, Ford, Vauxhall, Dyson, Dairylea, Land Rover/Jaguar, Airfix, Diageo, McArthur Glen, Red Bull, Caterham, Hyundai and Disney. Also major international aerospace companies including BAE Systems (main sponsor), Boeing, Lockheed Martin, EADS, United Technologies and Rolls-Royce. Many are long-term partners, ranging from major investors to small sponsors who co-exist and work well together.

2015 generated: A sell-out attendance of 150,000 people over the 3 days - 97% rated the Royal International Air Tattoo ' very good or good'- 82% said they 'definitely/probably' intend to visit in 2016.
