CASE STUDY: Acer drive product trial in BA Lounge at Heathrow

Blackjack provided fully trained staff to work on a branded Acer stand in the BA Club South Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5.
What was the Challenge / Background of the Campaign?
Electronics manufacturer Acer and its UK experiential agency Agent42 teamed up with Blackjack Promotions for an experiential campaign inviting passengers at London Heathrow's T5 BA Club Lounge to try out the latest range of Acer & Microsoft touch type devices.The aim of the activity was for our brand ambassadors to engage with business travellers in the lounge and showcase the Acer range.
What was the Campaign Objective?
Staff were also required to drive product trial, change brand perception within the target audience and also to drive sales online.
What was the Solution?
Between June 17 and July 11, Blackjack provided four brand ambassadors per day to engage with passengers from a branded stand on a range of Acer products through live product demos. The staff, who were fully trained on Acer products, were also on hand to provide more information in an effort to drive sales online. All staff attended full brand and product training to ensure they were knowledgeable. Our Blackjack staff were also accompanied by British Airways Brand ambassadors to offer a warm welcome to passengers attracted to the stand.
What were the Results?
During the four week campaign, there were 718 visitors to the stand and 590 quality interactions. "I love this Acer range; the products seem very compatible when considering work when travelling!"
