An ongoing campaign entitled customers to a free eyelash application/demonstration when they bought a pack of Eyelure false eyelashes at Liverpool and Manchester Debenhams
What was the Campaign Objective?
The campaign was aimed at women wanting a glamourous look for their night out, helping women to learn how to apply them to encourage future sales
What was the Solution?
Blackjack provided Eyelure trained promotional sales staff who demonstrated how to apply to lashes, performed applications on customers as well as selling the packs of lashes.
What were the Results?
Over the course of the campaign, the stand at both locations drew almost £15,000 worth of sales and very positive feedback from customers.
What were the Key Learnings of this Campaign?
Other locations were added to the initial campaign mechanic, with events at Boots and Sugarhut in Essex also taking place with Blackjack's help. Clearly the consumer wants to 'try before they buy' and having highly trained beauticians on the stand to apply the lashes encouraged the consumer to buy straight away as they could see instant results. Here the customer was given a personal experience which led to higher sales as a result.
