3rd party distributions are the most responsive insert channel available: three times more responsive than standard newsstand. The environment is enormously underutilised, therefore provides brands an opportunity to reach new consumers in an uncluttered environment. In addition, with the products being delivered 'at home' this is a great environment for consumers to trial product/retain a coupon for their next shop. There are a large number of 3rd party opportunities available covering all demographics. Example include Boden, Amazon, Ocado, ASOS, Waterstones and Very.
What is the Marketing Objective?
To drive trial of product direct to consumers "in home". Certainly with a sample, there will be almost 100% trial or pass on. If a sample is being distributed, accompanied with a money off coupon, this will encourage future purchase, as will a coupon on its own.
How does it work?
Based on the demographic audience required / volume / and general campaign objectives, the appropriate distributions will be planned that will drive the highest level of trial / response.
