Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Primesight are market leaders in convenience 6 sheets, managing 4350 with 561 outside Co-op shops - the largest convenience chain in the UK. Campaigns can be delivered regionally or nationally and have the ability to target shoppers on foot, for an instant purchase, or vehicular traffic for brand awareness or a purchase later that day. 80% of convenience shoppers live within a mile of their store, resulting in a rising pattern of 'little and often' shopping. We can support your campaign by using both our unique visual tools and EPOS data to provide sales accountability.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Using Co-op as an example: 60% of the UK population shop at Co-op each year, with 73% of shoppers using Co-op 2-3 times a week. Primesight understands this opportunity and is able to offer coverage, either regionally or nationally with 4350 convenience panels nationwide. This media can be used to generate an instant purchase and drive sales, or to generate longer-term brand awareness. Our convenience panels are also a successful way to generate interest towards a new product launch, by offering coverage with our high-quality panels throughout the UK.

How does it work?

Primesight have panels outside a wealth of convenience stores, independents and petrol stations, making us the market leaders in convenience panels. We have a unique build policy with Co-op and, as a result of this private estate agreement, our Co-op panels alone reach 20% of the UK population. Our panels have a dual broadcast message, targeting both shoppers at point of sale, but also vehicular traffic to increase brand awareness. Moreover, we are able to use EPOS data to show how our panels lead to sales uplift.

Who's used it in the past?

A range of clients, including MacDonalds, Mondelez, Lipton, NHS, Danone, Mars, P&G, Microsoft, Visa, Weetabix and Vype, amongst many more.

Features / Benefits

At £41bn, convenience is a growing market. With petrol prices increasing and people leading busier lives, consumers are favouring the 'little and often' approach to shopping over a time-consuming, large weekly shop. Convenience stores aren't restricted to Sunday Trading hours and are open later, meaning that convenience panels are relevant for longer. As the market leaders in this media, Primesight are able to deliver convenience campaigns which can target both shoppers on foot and vehicular traffic, leading to immediate sales uplift and increasing brand awareness.
