Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

September sees the start of the brand new student year! "Fresher's" fairs and parties sweep across the UK. We're passionate about introducing new and exciting products and services to the nation's students. Over the past few years, many companies have come to realise just how important students are as the future of commerce in the UK. We have combined experience of over 20 years marketing direct to students, we have created a network of partners nationwide which allows direct access to the students you're trying to target.

What is the Marketing Objective?

2015 sees the cap on student numbers lifted. That means there are approximately 1.8 million undergraduates studying in the UK, with a further five-hundred-thousand post-graduates: a market worth £15 billion annually. Brands benefit by targeting students who often become long term loyal consumers even after graduation as they become young professionals. There is massive opportunity across, Experiential, Event Sponsorship, and in the digital space.

How does it work?

StreetPR is in a very unique position in this market place. In London our Director/Founder is also a founder of Wicked Student Nights, London's leading nightlife events business for students which sees over 5000 customers a week. We also have huge knowledge of fresher's fairs, student movements and habits. This September Wicked Student Nights sees over 1,000 attendees at over 40 events over a 28 day period, a pretty impressive events calendar! We have partners in which we work with to put together sampling campaigns, national tours and social media campaigns.

Who's used it in the past?

We have successfully run a number of local to London based campaigns in the past. The national offering is new but is very real thanks to the successful expansion of the events companies' and student network over the past 12 months. This is a very unique opportunity and will be unmatched by any other agency.
