Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Play House Media consists of stand-alone or integrated media opportunities within the UK's largest, purpose-built indoor child play areas; safe environments where parents take their children to play. We work closely with clients to ensure their campaign is suitable for the young audience and their parents and we guide clients to create campaigns that deliver quality interaction between audience and brand. Boomerang is the only media operator placing media in these targeted environments and we fully merchandise all client campaigns ourselves.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Primary: Delivers brand awareness/opportunity to trial, direct to an undiluted audience of parents and their children. Secondary: Delivers environment ownership/domination. Creates bespoke opportunities for brand interaction. Generates a 'feel good' brand experience. Reaches parents/children and their like-minded friends.

How does it work?

All adults visiting a play area must be accompanied by a child; this is very much a child and parent environment. It's not a crèche - parents must stay with their children, but the children play together whilst the parents relax in the café. Our 6-sheet posters and experiential media are located to generate maximum impact on parents who are relaxing for long periods in the café or lounge areas. Likewise, child-focused activities can be located within the main area of play. The most effective campaigns are fully integrated to maximise brand experience and awareness.

Past clients include Nickelodeon, Walt Disney, Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson & Johnson, BSkyB, Warner Films, Toys R Us and Walk The Walk.
