Men's Health Survival of the Fittest Sponsorship

Provided by Hearst Magazines
Survival of the Fittest is the biggest adventure race series in the UK and we need a headline sponsor to partner with us.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Survival of the Fittest is a chance for a brand to achieve excellent engagement and exposure at 5 events with over 25K entrants and 20K spectators, a high profile media campaign in Men's Health magazine (the biggest men's mag in the UK) with a readership of 1.1million and a circulation of 228,478, that lasts over 8 months, plus excellent engagement on the MH website which enjoys almost a million unique users a month, and 10 million page impressions. Our previous headline sponsor was Landrover, and they partnered with us for 4 years, proving it was successful for them.

What is the Marketing Objective?

We will reach a core audience of guys aged 18-45 who have an enviable amount of disposable income, and like to treat themselves so that they look and feel great. Our readers love these events and many come back year after year nd do all 5 across the country. We have a headline sponsor and second tier sponsors who all enjoy real and authentic engagement with a target audience on all platforms. We can tailor a bespoke package to each brand so that it works exactly for their specific needs and strategy. We can also be as creative as we want in terms of event presence.

How does it work?

A headline sponsor will be our partner and enjoy high profile branding on the event logo, the T shirts, all over the events, plus their own obsticles, inclusion on all our own marketing pages and our PR/ad campaign, as well as their own promotional pages in magazine, online campaign, social networking campaign, competitions, race team

Who's used it in the past?

Landrover was our previous headline sponsor(2007-2011), and the course was covered with their best cars to showcase to the entrants and the spectators. We also had a test drive sign up process and the figures for this were extremely impressive.Their rugged yet stylish image was perfect for Men's Health, and these events. Other sponsors include For Goodness Shakes, Sweatshop, Stars Gym, Asahi, Adidas.

Features / Benefits

Excellent exposure to our readership of 1.1million with high profile media campaign, as well as event presence, online campaign and social media campaign. The event series is televised in a channel 4 programme aired in Decemeber, so there will be exposure here too, plus all events are PR'd and get exposure in local press and even on ITV news this year.
