Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The Monster Run is a family orientated sporting event encompassing physical and mental challenges requiring teamwork, rewarding both parents and children with a fun-filled experience. The families (5000 + children & 2000 parents) work together to complete either a 2k or 4km course while trying to escape the monster (a friendly creature in this case). The aim of the event is to get families involved in sport and enjoy taking part in physical activity as a family.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The Monster Run guarantees direct brand exposure to both participants, schools and local communities. It establishes valuable lines of contact with participating schools and provides an opportunity to promote your products through exposure and samplings at the mass participated events that run nationwide.

How does it work?

Interaction with the children through the schools, starts months prior to the event, with over 40 schools involved in 'Monster Run' taster sessions, introducing the monster theme to each school. As well as the taster sessions, there will be interaction via school assemblies, competitions, social media and regional media. Sponsorship would include logo placement on all pre-event marketing materials such as flyers, school packs and on the website. On the race day, marketing opportunities include t-shirts, race number, branding and sponsored obstacles.
