Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The London Video Guide is a collection of well made information films on sights & attractions, museums & galleries, theatre, restaurants and pubs etc in London. These films are distributed across a variety of Websites & Apps. Our visitor audience played our films 200,000 times during 2015 from our 30 partner websites. Our sponsor will be able to associate their brand each time a film is played, using advertising banners attached to each of the media players on our distribution network. We are expecting the number of films shown to exceed 300,000 plays during 2016.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Our Sponsor will benefit from the sole advertising ownership of the Pocket London Video Guide. This unique sponsorship opportunity will provide our sponsor with brand awareness that is reinforced as users engage with the content and watch multiple films, resulting in click through's to our sponsors media platforms.

How does it work?

Pocket London has developed a large number of distribution partners who show our Video content to their customers from their websites & PLG branded Apps. Currently we have 30 active distribution partners who have between them delivered over 200,000 plays since Feb 14. Some partners also use our white labeled native app which increases the number of film views. Example: http://www.londonbridgehotel.com/Local-Attractions.html Pocket London has made 800 white labeled versions (approx) of our site for clients which we are now concentrating on making live during 2015.

Who's used it in the past?

During 2014 PLG established the distribution network and gained statistics on the number of film plays we could achieve with 30 distribution partners. This trial showed that over 200,000 film plays were made from Feb 2014 to date. PLG is concentrating on making a further 70 distribution partners live online during 2015, which should add another 400,000 plays a year to the network. The opportunity is for any travel related companies; airline, train operators, sim card suppliers, theatre ticket operators etc... to get to a high net worth ABC1 audience during 2015/16
