Sky AdSmart is a revolutionary new approach to TV advertising. Until now everyone watching a Sky channel at the same time saw the same adverts. With Sky AdSmart different adverts can be shown to different households watching the same programme. Households can be selected based on factors like age, location and life-stage, derived from a combination of Sky's own customer data and information from consumer profiler experts such as Experian. Whether you want to reach a specific regional audience or complement a national TV campaign Sky AdSmart can help.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Sky AdSmart can be used to create a bespoke standalone campaign to meet your campaign objectives. Sky AdSmart can be used to a specific audience or region or to compliment a linear campaign by up-weighting messaging to a specific audience or showing different messages to different audience selections in the same linear spot.

How does it work?

Target different audiences using different ads in the same linear spot to optimise your marketing activity, for example a car manufacturer could have a linear campaign for a saloon but advertise SUV's to families and superminis to affluent young singles in that same linear spot. You can also define the specific households you want to reach and only play your ad when that household is watching, for example an adventure park in the North of England could advertise to families living in the region, only when they are watching.
