Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Opportunity to sponsor the App content. For the launch of Rocking All Over The World we are including over 1,000 music landmarks. Rocking All Over The World will be available world-wide as an IOS App for iPhone and iPad as a free download via the iTunes store in over 100 territories, including the UK,North America, South America, Europe, Japan, Australia, etc.

What is the Marketing Objective?

To build global awareness and communicate the personality of the brand through sponsorship involvement, building trusted relationships and engagement with the audience based on valued content developed for the mutual benefit of the Brand, the Bands and their fans.

How does it work?

The App is linked to Google maps and show's the user the nearest 'musiclandmark' to their current position. So when your current location comes up on your device, the App would show you the nearest 'music landmarks' and when clicking on each one would give you a paragraph of information with an image relating to the landmark: Eg. "On 10th Nov 1975, Queen recorded the ground-breaking promotional video for Bohemian Rhapsody at Elstree Studios. It took a mere four hours to film and cost a paltry £4,500 (approximately $7,000US) to make."

We predict that this new app will see around 100,000 downloads in the first 6 months,(when we made our Led Zeppelin app free for 1 week we did 10,000 downloads). The promo video for the App on the site has been viewed 228,884 times in 3 months.
