Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Bastille Festival in London takes place on Bankside on Sun 12th July & is the largest London celebration of the French national day. Now in its 7th successful year, the event includes French food & drink, music, street entertainers, performance & "Le Bal Populaire" - an evening party in Borough Market. Other activities include waiter's races, film screenings, product sampling, table football tournaments, cycling activities & boules. The festival is family friendly, with activities throughout the day, including story telling, face painting & events.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Sponsors included in all marketing & publicity as follows: - Event website & guide (A5, 4pp, 15,000 copies) - Infobikes - Event posters - "One Big Summer Guide" publication, 100,000 + - Better Bankside ebrief to 10,000 subscribers - Visit Bankside What's On Newsletter to 5,500 subscribers - Better Bankside websites - Riverside London app - 34,000 downloads on iTunes & Android - Listings on Visiting London/Tourist websites (1.5m visitors per month) - Social media campaign. Plus sponsor's branded stall, branded signage & sponsor presence at Le Bal Populaire.
