Community Channel is partnering with Esmée Fairbairn Foundation on a season addressing Food and Sustainability.
Celebrating its fifteenth year of passionate and committed broadcasting, Community Channel is the only TV channel for communities, charities and the people who make the UK a better place for us all. This season will showcase the sustainable food movement, celebrating the stories of people, places and passions that are changing the way people approach growing, sharing, selling and eating food. It will help audiences understand how the food they consume affects them and the world around them and will motivate them to think more about their food consumption.
Sponsorship of the Food and Sustainability season on the Community Channel, will allow brands to reach the growing audience of this warm and embracing channel and to associate with the issue of making responsible sustainable food choices.
The Food and Sustainability season will run weeknights 9pm-midnight. The sponsor will receive accreditation in c.120 programme broadcasts: 2 x 10" credits per opening and closing of each programme and 2 x 5" per centre break. Plus brand accreditation in approx. 350 channel promos. The season will be branded across the channel with promos, graphics and calls-to-action to ensure context and continuity across the season. With shows such as Food Rebels, Do Something Brilliant and many more it's a must see season.
The Community Channel is available 24-hours across TV platforms in 26
million UK homes. It is also available streamed and on-demand through six
platforms attracting 12 million unique TV viewers last year with 2
million viewers each month. The audience of the channel is growing with 110% audience growth in 2014. In addition to broadcast sponsorship, an online and social media campaign will complement the season enabling viewers to find out more about the organisations covered and join a discussion on social media.
