Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Our listeners don't want to hear it, but soon children and parents will be gearing up for that important time in the family calendar - the first day at school! As the UK's only radio station dedicated to children and their parents, Fun Kids is in a unique position to really embrace this time with an exciting Back to School programming campaign. In the weeks leading up to and covering that first week at school, the campaign includes parent advice, tips from fellow children, a dedicated micro-site and unique school competition to make that first day as fun as possible!

What is the Marketing Objective?

Naturally this presents a fantastic opportunity for a brand to have exclusive sponsorship of this programming, placing you at the centre of the Fun Kids Back to School programming and this special time of year for families.

How does it work?

We'll deliver your brand across all Back to School programming with sponsor credits, brand mentions as our Back to School Partner and advertorials dedicated to your brand. To provide presenter endorsement and buzz around your brand we'll also run a unique Back to School competition on air and online where listeners can win special prizes for their entire class! This will be supported with extensive online activity, including a dedicated section on, a Home Page Take Over, Site-wide Banners and a Bespoke Mail Out to our parent database.

Who's used it in the past?

Immediate Media used this to promote their children's magazines. The success has since led to Immediate Media becoming our annual Fun Kids Junior partner for 2014.
