Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The opportunity to sponsor Boarding Skills #1, an instructional DVD on beginners snowboarding produced with the Ski Club of Great Britain and BASI.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Association with focus group of high spending youth market and sport enthusiasts. Affiliation and joint marketing ventures with sports bodies - BASI and Ski Club of GB and other sports brands

How does it work?

Main sponsor benefits are based firmly on the no 1 principle of sponsorship i.e. 'money in, value out'. The total value of the package using industry-standard evaluation measures prior to the intricacies of the package being finalised is in excess of £10,000. Our requirement in exchange would be a cash sponsorship to go towards the production of the programme.

Who's used it in the past?

Acrobat Television has been producing instructional sports DVDs for over 20 years with BASI, the Ski Club of Great Britain and the RYA, which have been sponsorship funded. Sponsors for these projects include Neilson, Salomon, Dare 2 B, Aloe Up, Bolle, Chewits and Fat Face. Many of the sponsors have supported a number of programmes due to the PR, Marketing and profile benefits they have had from supporting them.

Features / Benefits

Headline sponsor branding on the DVD case on & opening&closing credits. Appropriate product placement within the programme (if applicable). Articles featuring sponsor in Ski+ board magazine, national press & various websites including Ski Club of GB and BASI. Free access to footage from programme own marketing purposes. Media exposure at press launch of DVD at Metro Ski Show 2010. Exposure through DVD sales worldwide includ Amazon, Amazon US, Play.com, Snow+Rock, Ski Club, BASI, other benefits to be discussed.
