The first ever bespoke promotion for Yankee Candle & Clintons which featured in over 400 Clintons throughout the UK
Yankee Candles and Clintons have a strong trading relationship which is important to both businesses. The campaign is their first ever bespoke joint promotion which is now live in over 400 Clintons throughout the UK. It's set to coincide with the launch of the Yankee Christmas range, which includes scents like Christmas Garland, Candy Cane Lane and Christmas Lane.
The main objective of this campaign is simple: To drive purchase of Yankee Candles in Clintons in the run up to Christmas.
Created by integrated marketing agency Toucan, the solution was a partnership between Yankee Candles & Clintons. Any large Yankee Candle purchased form Clintons (in store or online) between 1st October and 30th November, ensures the opportunity to win 1 of 5 Christmas weekend breaks to famous cities which have amazing Christmas trees at their heart. 25 runners up are to receive a real Christmas tree (and decorations) in time for Christmas.
There was POS in Clintons to highlight the promotion with dedicated window space to highlight it from the beginning of November.
A combination of online, inshore and window display material drove high levels of awareness and resulted in positive sales results for both partners.
