Harlequins RL community department will offer your organisation the opportunity to reach over 21,000 young people in London.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sport is a universal language that never fails to inspire, engage and excite. Harlequins Rugby League aims to work closely with our sponsors to add value through collective strength, raise brand awareness, share best practise and inspire Londoners through delivering results and initiatives. The aim of the Harlequins Rugby League community team is to create opportunities for players of any age or ability to participate in rugby league in school, college, university and ultimately clubs.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The marketing objective for the community department is to assist in promotion and education of the sport and ultimately the only super league club in London Harlequins Rugby League. Through exposure we hope to asscertain a larger following in London and the south which will assist in ticket sales and long-term fans.

How does it work?

The community department reached in excess of 21,000 young people in 2007 through schools coaching blocks, assemblies, club coaching and festivals/ camps. This figure is bound to increase as the sport grows in the Nations capitial. The sponsor can gain brand exposure not only electronically through websites and e-shots but also through all community sport promotional material.

Workplace Systems have been previous sponsors of the Harlequins Community Department.
