The competition runs over 4 months and consists of 4 key stages: . UK Audition tour - Started 5th Sept 2009. Covering London, Leicester (BBC India festival), Derby, Newcastle, Nottingham and Birmingham. . Judges filtering - Judges select 100 artists. . Quarter finals - Judges see 35-40 contestants per day to select 12 semi finalists . The Finals - One winner!
