Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Discovery Brand Solutions and Sky Media are pleased to offer the perfect sponsorship package for any advertiser aiming to target Women and housewives at a time when the nation begins to rue over-indulging at Christmas and wants to be inspired into making a positive change to their lives. Weight-loss, makeovers and other inspirational shows make this strand of programming a hot favourite among the target audience.

What is the Marketing Objective?

A fantastic opportunity to build awareness amongst a female audience at a time when they're still sticking to their new year's resolutions!

How does it work?

New Year's Resolutions would take the form of an on air message around key lifestyle titles: Three months' sponsorship of New Year's Resolutions from January to March 2010 across Discovery Home & Health, Discovery Travel & Living and Discovery Real Time. Sponsor would receive branding on all promotional material, 15 seconds opening and closing credits, and 10seconds/5seconds break bumpers. Programming includes; You are what you Eat: Gillian Moves In, Europe's Richest People and Ten Years Younger.

Who's used it in the past?

This is a new proposition and we look forward to working with a sponsor on this new venture. The package may suit a health, fitness, diet or beauty brand.
