Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Independent Music is a 16 page supplement free with The Independent on the first Saturday of every month. The supplement is also support with a radio show and an online music site offering access to free music. Ownership of Independent Music across all channels including sponsor accreditation ad sites in print and online and radio show is currently on offer. There is also the opportunity to run branded competitions on the radio show and magazine. We can also give brands access to free music (full tracks) to stream and download for readers.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Align a brand with energy music across a variety of genres and platforms. Create high quality content for use within The Independent channels and for use by the client.

How does it work?

Our editorial team would work with the client to fit the music content with the commercial objectives. A partner will receive the following across the different elements: PRINT: front cover accreditation; editorial integration; bespoke features; advertising & branded traffic drivers. ONLINE: Ownership of Music site; free music; inventory; competitions; bespoke landing page; advertorial & branded traffic drivers to radio show. RADIO: Exclusive accreditation throughout; 30" pre and post roll spot ads Competition brought to you by....; live reads.

Previous commercial partners include Sony Ericsson, E-Music, STA Travel, O2, Renault and Passionato.
