Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Eureka!'s 13 acre site is one of the most visited attractions in the north of England. We welcome over 274,000 visitors per year. As a well loved and respected children's charity we are known for our brilliant special events, and attract repeat visits from families who know they are in for a great time at Eureka! Sponsorship opportunities are available for all school holidays. February half-term:9 day event 16,900 visitors Easter: 16 day event 21,500 Spring half-term:9 day event 10,800 Summer: 44 day event 54,000 October half-term: 9 day event 14,600

What is the Marketing Objective?

Eureka! provides direct access to family consumers. Events held at Eureka! attract families with children in the 0 -11 age range, depending on the theme of the event. Events can be themed to fit Sponsor brand objectives whether they be child or parent oriented. Sponsoring Eureka! increases brand awareness, enables brand interaction and brand engagement with a trusted partner. It also aligns your brand with the experts in play and learning, the Best Family Day Out 2012 (What's on for Junior Awards) and the No.1 Hands on Museum (The Independent 2011) in the UK.

How does it work?

Sponsorship of Eureka! events enables interaction with families during a trusted leisure activity. Events can be themed to fit Sponsor products, brands, targets and objectives or simply branding of Eureka! developed themes and activities. Sponsor also gets brand alignment and promotion on Eureka! social media and online channels with an average 22,640 unique visitors to the website per month, 6000+ friends on Facebook with a reach of 1.6million, and almost 2,500 Twitter followers.

Who's used it in the past?

Eureka! works closely with relevant children's and family brands. Recently we have supported Angry Birds, Disney Princess, Mike the Knight, K'Nex and Geomag in promoting their brands to our visitors through brand or product-integrated activities. We have long term commercial partnerships with Lloyds Banking Group and Marks and Spencer who both have a dedicated space in our centrepiece Living & Working Together gallery.
