Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Building on the success of our recent World Cup Pubcast, the Telegraph Premiership Pubcast will bring together the best of the Telegraph’s world-class sporting opinion, the essence of football for most fans and hot disputes in the pub. It will include the most well-informed football debates between respected Telegraph pundits, special guests and real people in the pub, in an accessible, intelligent, lively and humorous format. The content will consist of free-ranging discussions on topical issues to do with the Premiership punctuated by ‘built’ elements.

What is the Marketing Objective?

This is a fantastic opportunity to build brand awareness and create that big brand feel!

How does it work?

We will encourage participation from people in the pub and listeners through emails and a dedicated section of the Telegraph Football chat forum. There will be 38 episodes in total: one to cover the 1st two weeks of the season and one every Friday from 1st Sept to 11th May. Each show (approx 30 minutes) will be available to download or stream online every Friday by 3pm. It is sectioned into chapters so listeners can skip around. We may also include stills where possible & relevant. A 52-week presence via sponsorship of the Telegraph’s Premiership Channel is also included.
