The Relentless Boardmasters is the World's biggest surf, skate and music festival attracting over 100,000 visitors to the famous Fistral Beach in Newquay and the unique festival site of Watergate Bay. This event is one of a kind combining the hedonistic pleasure of a music festival as well as highest class of action sports attracting world class athletes from around the globe. The event attracts high volumes of young visitors, from a refined as well as a mainstream audience including familes, and benefits from extensive media coverage over and above productions for Channel4

What is the Marketing Objective?

Relentless Boardmasers presents a fantastic opportunity for brand awareness and alignment with an aspirational youth event. It is also a unique platform for brand experience campaigns. The Fistral Beach site is free so naturally claims a high footfall and for this reason the audience as very receptive to brand/product interaction. Product sampling is also very successful here. We've seen figures of 40,000 units per day! !

How does it work?

The event is spilt across two sites, Fistral Beach where the WQS Surf contest takes place, along with the Vans Summer Sessions, a vast retail village and the event Beach Bar which hosts the Beach Sessions in the evening. Watergate Bay is the superb location for the two day Music Festival. Sponsors rights for partners will include; sponsors branding on all Boardmasters pre-event marketing schedule including national and regional print advertising campaigns, the use of the Relentless Boardmasters logo on any brand communication including POS, comps, and onsite branding.
