Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Be a part of history. Each year, we beat our own World Record for the largest Pub Crawl in the World. 4,000 Students and Non Students take part in a pub crawl that is spread out and staggered over 15 bars and clubs in Manchester City Centre. We are offering brands the opportunity to sponsor the event which takes place on 8th June 2010.

What is the Marketing Objective?

To be missing link between the event going ahead and not. To be missing link between allowing people to have have fun, enjoy themselves, party with their friends and make history for the biggest Pub Crawl in the World. The Guiness Book of Records are officiating and it is being televised for SKY ONE.

How does it work?

There are 4 teams. Each Team wears a different coloured T-shirt. There are 1,000 people in each Team. Each Team has different starting time. The Teams then have to have a drink at least 1 club or pub in designated "zones" along the Pub Crawl Route. Sponsorship of the event will include: * 4,000 T-shirts with your brand solely on the back. This will be the most visible part of the event for all participants. * Advertising on all the Flyers, Posters and other marketing materials.* Sampling, Interactions and branding at all of the bars and clubs.

Who's used it in the past?

Boohoo.com (online fashion retailer) have sponsored the event 3 times & SwishSwosh.com (T-shirt retailer) sponsored the event twice.
