Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

We are offering a sponsor the opportunity to partner with the most exciting new entertainment event in the world: the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. This year we are joined by Radio 1, T4 and international press. With a live audience of over one million - and exposure to many millions worldwide - this is an unprecedented opportunity to benefit from a close and integrated association with a truly world-class event. Four companies; eight sites; four weeks; fifty theatres; two thousand staff; ten thousand performances; a million tickets... one sponsorship opportunity.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Raise brand awareness through sponsorship of the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. The objective of the festival is to bring fans from the UK and internationally to Edinburgh for the world's largest celebration of live comedy.

How does it work?

From 2008 the four largest Fringe organisations began to work together, to combine all of their comedy programming under one banner - Edinburgh Comedy Festival. The sponsor of the event will receive branding on all festival merchandise plus bespoke opportunities including retail, sampling, hospitality and onsite branded experiences.

Who's used it in the past?

Over the years numerous brands have supported the venues now drawn together under the umbrella of Edinburgh Comedy Festival - incl, though not restricted to: Coors, Inbev, Nokia, RedBull, S&N, IF, Perrier, Paramount, Bellhaven.
