Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The Cricket Rankings is a newly revised concept identifying the Most Valuable Player (MVP) across all domestic competitions within the professional game. The Cricket Rankings system is rigorous enough to be truly representative but simple enough to be understandable. It considers such variables at the number of runs, reaching a century, strike rate, wickets, maidens and lots more statistics! The opportunity to sponsor The Cricket Rankings is now available.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Associate your brand with a unique and innovative new Ranking system. Raise brand awareness amongst a traditionally elusive up market male audience. Completely clean slate - own a new sponsorship opportunity.

How does it work?

Sponsorship Property Ownership - 'xxxx MVP'. Pre season press launch at a London location with several high profile players. Use of the ECB and England Team logo. Branding on all Cricket Rankings pages on the ECB and PCA site, as well as all major media sites including newspapers and sports websites. Adverts and logos to appear on the big screen at all international matches. 1 page of advertising in all international programmes. Sponsorship of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the end of season PCA Awards (1,500 attendees). 150 international tickets p.a.

N/A. This is a completely new sponsorship proposal.

Features / Benefits

The players and cricket media are already in support of the new MVP. Cricket fans are also very interested in statistics and they will no doubt follow this system regularly. A brand associating itself with this sponsorship property will be at the very cutting edge of the game.
