An opportunity to sponsor the UK’s most prestigious student media awards

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sole sponsor of agreed category. Branding on all awards and conference promotional material. Text credits on email alerts. Verbal note of thanks at event, and representative to present award. The Guardian will endeavour to provide an editorial mention in subsequent coverage. Invitations to the event. This activity will span the period from March to November. A range of other tailored opportunities are available, which where relevant, can include the opportunity to host a seminar at the conference.

What is the Marketing Objective?

To promote your brand/service to the student market.

How does it work?

There are thirteen categories and students submit an article into their chosen category. The winning articles are chosen by a high profile panel of judges including Jon Snow, Alan Rusbridger, Piers Morgan and Samira Ahmed. A winner is picked from each category, plus one overall winner who displays outstanding talent and promise. All shortlisted contestants are invited to the student media conference, and the post conference awards ceremony.
