Target film lovers through sponsorship of 3D Glasses cases

Opportunity to take ownership of the glasses required to watch the new wave of 3D films that this year include UP & Avatar.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The opportunity is for your brand to take ownership of 3D glasses by printing on the cardboard 'apple pie' style cases that are given to every 3D cinema goer prior to the film. Could be printed with branding to increase awareness, vouchers to encourage purchase or competitions to encourage interaction etc. The new generation of 3D films require a new generation of Glasses to enable the 3D effect. Gone are the old blue and red tinted cardboard cut out glasses, instead 'Ray-Ban' style clear glasses are used to enable to crystal clear High Definition 3D image to be seen.

What is the Marketing Objective?

3D film is the fastest growing genre in cinema and as such is contributing to the highest grossing Box Office films of the year. Sponsoring 3D glasses allows your brand to cost effectively align itself with some of the biggest films of the year and can be used to raise brand awareness, encourage interactivity with your brand or increase purchase.

How does it work?

Place your brand directly in the hands of consumers. Glasses are handed out with every 3D ticket purchase, the case will be fully branded with your product. Sleeves can be printed with brand logo, marketing message, money off vouchers etc. With an estimated 1 million admissions per 3D film and a powerful method of unavoidable sampling, this is a fantastic opportunity to enhance an onscreen campaign and a cost effective way to gain association with the most talked about releases. As the glasses (and cases) are not re-used, cinema goers are free to take them home with them.
