How does it work?

The Silver Spot is scheduled after the main reel advertising, directly before the trailers are shown, which is an anticipated moment in the run up to the main feature. The position offers up to 60 seconds of sponsorship creative, or premium advertising with national coverage across Cineworld, ODEON, Empire & CityScreen cinemas. The big screen impact of the position can be amplified with one to one marketing, through interactive and mobile off-screen activities.

Who's used it in the past?

The Mercedes Benz, Lucky Star Campaign used bespoke film trailer style creative to drive awareness of its brand . In the run up to Christmas 2008, Playstation combined the showcase of the SIlver Spot with interactive foyer gaming areas to promote five key games. Other advertisers include Daily Mail, Apple, Stella Artois, Chanel and BMW.
