Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

January 2010 presents 2 x poster in-charge dates - 4th & 18th - but students in 40 of our represented universities return mid-way, on 11th January. Therefore we are offering to post a week early and thereby allow brands 3 weeks of exposure for the cost of 2. Students represent a £13bn pa industry, on average they have a £10k pa disposable income, which they tend to receive at the start of each term. Itchy offers a direct route to speak to them at times when they are relaxed and in a social environment.

How does it work?

Itchy's scrolling poster boards are positioned in the areas of longest dwell time in the student unions - the bars (74 minutes) and cafes (25 minutes). This gives ample opportunity for the scrolling posters to be registered, particularly given 90% of students visit their union 3 times a week. Scrolling posters are twice as eyecatching as static (we post no more than 3 faces at any one time), and the A0 size means that they can be positioned in areas of highest visibility, and at eye level, so the lower part of the poster is not obscured.
