Title Sponsorship of the "Party in the Paddock" Series

Provided by Arena Leisure Plc
A series of 3 evening race meetings featuring live music in the paddock area after racing.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The 'racing with a difference' Party in the Paddock series features live entertainment from X-Factor's Journey South (30th May) plus Motown Gold (24th May) and Blazing Saddles (5th June). The live music will take place on a stage situated in the paddock area of the racecourse once racing has finished, creating a party atmosphere and a desirable destination venue. Title sponsorship includes branding opportunities, corporate hospitality, sampling opportunities, race sponsorship and inclusion in all Party in the Paddock media campaigns (Radio/Print/Leaflets).

What is the Marketing Objective?

Build Awareness

How does it work?

The entertainment side will be professionally managed by The Liz Hobbs Group who will help market the series alongside Southwell Racecourse. The series will be heavily advertised in the East Midlands area - 300,000 postcards will be printed & distributed (via newspaper inserts & handouts), radio advertising across 4 stations in the East Midlands and newspaper advertising in local media. The title sponsor will also get their logo on all adverts as well as their company name used in the radio adverts.

Who's used it in the past?

The Party in the Paddock idea is new to Southwell Racecourse, however racecourses have seen crowds soar when entertainment (other than horse racing) has been provided.

Features / Benefits

Sponsorship of the event provides full corporate hospitality for 50 guests at each event (or 150 guests at one of the events) inclusive of drinks. Race sponsorship gives brand awareness to more than 2 million TV viewers via Sky Sports Winning Post programme, At The Races and SIS TV channels. You can reach approx 600,000 people via radio, 250,000 via leaflet inserts and 250,000 via local newspaper advertising. We are also offering you the chance to run a competition for 2 people to 'meet & greet' Journey South on 30th May.
