Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The Elite League was formed in 1997 to showcase the very best of British Speedway with the top riders from all over the world racing for famous teams such as the Belle Vue Aces, Poole Pirates and the Coventry Bee's. The concept was made for television with GSI brokering the deal to see the sports first ever weekly television deal, with race meetings covered live every year. Through GSI holding the International rights to the Elite League this action can now be viewed all over the world with a worldwide reach of half a billion viewers.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Massive Brand Awareness potential through on site audiences throughout the UK & TV viewers Worldwide. We can offer great exposure across a whole sport, with supporters known to be loyal to advertisers.

How does it work?

10 Teams will compete for the Elite League Championship over the course of the Speedway season culminating in the Elite League Playoffs, packed out Stadiums with extensive TV coverage throughout. Be it a UK, European or Worldwide objective, Elite League Clubs can actively promote your brand from their high speed exploits to corporate hospitality at top events to ensure that you and your brand receive prime positioning throughout. We will promote your brand through extensive placement advertising for TV, local & national media, team branding, social media and much much more.

Sky Sports have been long-term Sponsors of the Elite League, with Skybet also taking the Title Sponsorship previously.
