Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

The Open is the biggest racing event in the final quarter of the year. Print advertising in racecard and/or Festival Preview magazine is currently on offer to brands.

What is the Marketing Objective?

To reach affluent racing enthusiasts both at the event and at home.

How does it work?

Open Preview is mailed to all pre-paid ticket purchasers the week before. The racecard is available on the site, and circulated in-paper through Midlands retailers carrying the Irish Times or Racing Post Average daily print runs are 15,000, higher on Paddy Power Gold Cup day.

Guinness, Thomas Pink, Cross Country Trains, Citroen.

Features / Benefits

This is a captive audience hungry for information about the event for which they have purchased tickets. They are receptive to marketing offers both before and during the event.
