Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Asda FM Live is the biggest Radio station in the UK and targets 18 million shoppers per week across all Asda stores. The Asda Media Centre works to develop in-store radio campaigns that allow brands and key categories to shout about price deals, brand launches and raise the bar on brand awareness at the Point of purchase creatively. At a media rate of 33p CPT for an average Asda FM Live campaign this is a cost effective and outstanding in store media tool for brands.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Increase brand awareness in an ever competing in-store retail environment, communicate price deals, drive customer traffic to product aisle and target 18 million Asda shoppers per week to drive incremental sales.

How does it work?

1- 4 week plus campaigns available: Asda FM Live campaigns can include 15-30 second spot ads relevant for Asda shoppers per hour. Frequencies of ad spots can play up to 3 times per hour. DJ mentions can also be incorporated during store opening times from 9-9pm to drive brand message in store A Creative and flexible media tool with brand/category opportunities. For example, weather activated campaigns relevant to product type i.e. BBQ meats in summer. Also available: Station/Live show sponsorships with Asda FM Live show (11-3pm)
