Bluepod Media has developed this innovative advertising platform to reach consumers within the cinema environment. All of DCM's exhibitors -Cineworld, Empire and Odeon - have a Bluepod Media device installed within their cinema foyer areas. This enables advertisers to target over 6 million cinemagoers every month as they queue at the box office or at the confectionery counter. On average, a cinema goer spends 18 minutes in the cinema foyer before entering the auditorium to see their film, providing ample time for consumers to interact with your marketing message.

How does it work?

Customers are sent a promt to their mobile from the destination (i.e. Cineworld), whereby they select either 'Yes' or 'No' to receiving the content. Once accepted, a message stating that all content is free is delivered to reassure the customer. A destination branded menu system is loaded and customers are free to select the content appropriate to them, i.e. branded content, trailers, voucher codes or wallpapers.

Who's used it in the past?

Bluetooth has been utilised by many big brands, including Nike and Xbox. Nike achieved a very impressive 41,460 unique content downloads in 4 weeks.
