Talk directly to Avanti's 2.5m strong bar audience via bar screens and Bluetooth interactivity. Avanti operate the largest Bluetooth network in the UK through 200 bars. Advertise your brand and message on the 1500 screens and also use your ad as a call to action to tell customers to turn their Bluetooth function on and receive a free download. Downloadable material can include pictures, film clips, music, ringtones, wallpaper and sales promotion vouchers.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Use the screens in a traditional manner to build awareness and salience of your brand, whilst adding an extra layer of (direct) communication by offering a free download direct to the customer handset. Thus leaving the customer with a visual image of your brand and a permanent one to be viewed and passed onto their friends many times in the future.

How does it work?

Bluetooth marketing works on a one way 'push' basis, where material - pictures, film clips, music, ringtones, wallpaper - are downloaded directly to the consumers mobile phone. Bluetooth is not spam as it is completely permission based, the customer will need to go through 2 levels of permission before they receive the download.
