Samsung debuts curved posters in blockbuster Curved TV campaign on blowUP media Giant Posters.

What was the Challenge / Background of the Campaign?

To install two special build 3D curved posters on both our Fulham and Birmingham Central sites. The Fulham site is 160 square metres whilst the Birmingham Central site is 200 square metres; the equivalent of six 96-sheet conventional poster sites.

What was the Campaign Objective?

To deliver the new pre-Christmas campaign for Samsung's award-winning 'curved' TVs in a creative & impactful way.

What was the Solution?

The Samsung range of curved TVs is a huge advance in UHD TV and home entertainment in general so they deserved the biggest out of home stage. We were able to demonstrate the sophistication of the new TVs by utilising special build curved posters to truly demonstrate the ways in which technology provides an immersive video and audio experience.

What were the Results?

A bespoke and eye- catching campaign; the huge 3D banners delivered the message of sophisticated curved technology in an impactful and memorable way. The Birmingham Central special build, one of the biggest in the UK, required 15 separate sections and took an average of 36 hours to install.

What were the Key Learnings of this Campaign?

The Giant 3D Posters made this campaign truly unmissable. Despite the rise of Digital Out of Home Advertising, we were able to deliver an innovative technical campaign through special build Giant Banners.
