CASE STUDY: Experiential: Welsh Water Roadshow

Helping Welsh Water (Dwr Cymru) to create an engaging campaign driving interactions with the customers at various locations.

What was the Challenge / Background of the Campaign?

The brief was to create and inviting and engaging presence for Dwr Cymru, capable of traveling nationwide and interacting with their customers. The lead time from conception to delivery was only 4 weeks and the roadshows ran nationwide for 10 weeks with limited time for change overs.

What was the Campaign Objective?

Communicate various water related messages around conservation, responsibility and strategy

What was the Solution?

Orchard designed a bespoke inflatable structure with custom graphics. The interior was designed to be open and welcoming and at the same time informative and relaxing space, audio, video, and visual messages. A flavoured water bar invited the visitors to stay and interact with the Welsh water staff and complete an online assessment. Children's interactive spaces including water activities were provided to allow time to discuss questions and gain answers. All aspects from concept, design, delivery, logistics and Health and Safety were managed by Orchard internal team.

What were the Results?

The roadshow toured for 10 solid weeks to city center sites, the Royal Welsh show and the National Eisteddfod. Feedback received from the visitors was always positive and the walk through of visitors was higher than expected.
