Strada wanted to increase sales in their Central London restaurants and so decided to run a reader offer in Metro newspaper and online on www.metro.co.uk. Strada were offering 2 main courses for the price of 1 in a bid to make the consumer's money go further. 6,482 vouchers were redeemed in total with a conversion rate of 0.5%. This was a good results for Strada, comsidering a purchase was required to redeem. Not only did the promotion lift sales in established Central London locations, it also had a positive effect on our businesses in Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester.
