Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Bound ins are used regularly in Closer. These are leaflets, booklets, or anything (dependant on editorial approval) bound in to the magazine, creating stand out. Often used to educate about a new release, list events, coupons etc

What is the Marketing Objective?

Bound ins enables you to create stand out in a saturated women's market. To give consumers some value (something potentially of relevance and of use to them), as well as awareness specific to campaign objectives (could be an event, brand, new launch or release)

How does it work?

We can (although not always necessary) work with a client and or agency to create the material they wish to bind in to the magazine. Once accepted by the printers (these need to be spec specific) they can run in any available issue. The consumer will be able to pull the bound in out of the magazine to keep for reference or read through it whilst it is still in-situ. This tends to work well when targeting older mums with kids, as they often like to pull things out to keep as reference for ideas for the family or treats for themselves.

Who's used it in the past?

A vast list of clients from the beauty industry to television channels (E4). Any one can use it, it's not brand/category specific but a great opportunity for any brand or product.
