Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Sponsoship and SBP's required when the world's greatest dance music brand Ministry of Sound goes on tour. Brazil to Bucharest, South Africa to China: street carnival's to a large dance music event in an airport hanger, hosting an event on a luxury cruise liner; Ministry of Sound Tours put's on over 500 events a year, thus truly pioneering the global music scene. Ministry of Sound on tour is about putting on events with the world's most revered artists, we take our cutting edge sound of our legendary Saturday London club night and take it global.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Different levels of marketing; sponsoring a whole tour acheiving the brand maximum exposure across the tour regions. Product launches would benefit form raised awareness and drive sales. If the product is benefits from sampling this can be arranged ensuring all attendees leave with the product or experience it whilst at the event. The overall marketing objective determines the level of involvement required and as the scope for involvement is so wide it is best to talk through your requirments to bespoke the package to your needs.

How does it work?

All Marketing material for the event can feature branding including; online activities, email marketing, pre and post press, post event press, event production and visuals. As Ministry of Sound has a strong presence in the UK and Internationally the press is attracted to the events and write about them frequently. Research and Data capture are easily done as the target audience all have to enter a venue which allows easy access for data capture.

Who's used it in the past?

Previous SBP's include: Pepsi-Cola, TDK, Siemens, Bacardi, Barclaycard, Heineken, Corona, Trojan condoms and Nescafe. Corona sponsored the Ministry of Sound UK club tour in 2007 visiting 6 major UK city nightclubs. The tour was called 'Ministry of Sound and Corona present the Sessions Tour' Corona logos featured on all marketing material, club decor and production and on the night giveaways. Corona was the only premium beer on sale in each venue on the night and deals were done to promote the beer. Corona are repeating the tour but increasing cities in 2008.

Due to the amount of events held worldwide across the various Ministry of Sound brands there is great opporunity to hit a large and varied market not only in the UK but across the world. In 2008 Ministry of Sound events will feature in: UK - 185 events Europe - 179 events North America - 21 events South America - 49 events Africa - 34 events Asia - 47 events 2000 average attendees per event. No other brand hosts this many events worldwide in the best cities, best clubs working with the best promoters and best marketing partners.
