Partnership Opportunity: Weekly Lock-Down DJ Contest with Mixmag

A weekly online DJ contest asking those in lockdown to send in a mix & win a DJ set at the world's best clubs after the curfews

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

A weekly lockdown DJ contest. Bedroom DJs stuck at home can submit a DJ mix to Mixmag. The best mixes go on our SoundCloud (1.4m subs) & when the self isolating is over the best DJ mix with the most listens gets to open our first Lab after the all clear. Each week of lock down will be a different genre. ON Monday we announce the genre and by Sunday we announce that weeks winner, so one week may be house music DJs, week 2 is DnB, week 3 is tecno & so on. Mixmag will match each winner with a club night that the winner would open for once lockdown is over!

What is the Marketing Objective?

This is turning a negative into a positive, encouraging creativity, rewarding and discovering new talent and promoting positivity and giving people something to do, something to hear and something to look forward to - every week. There are lot of bored bedrooms DJs sitting around and lots of people looking to hear new music and new mixes as they work from home.

Via Mixmags vast web and social channels - reaching 100m a month
