What is the Marketing Objective?

Brand Awareness

How does it work?

Sponsorship of this high profile annual race will give a company/brand the opportunity partner with this established racing fixture, recognised in and out of the industry. Prize money for the race will increase from £100K to £160K and will make it the only 7 Furlong Group 1 race in the UK. The stature and the added prize money of the race will attract huge media attention both locally, nationally and internationally along with terrestrial coverage across the UK and World Wide Coverage pre, during and post event.

Who's used it in the past?

The race has been sponsored for many years by GNER, to promote their brand and build awareness of the rail links in the UK and for high level Corporate Hospitality. Ladbrokes have sponsored the Festival for the past 3 years and have recently re-signed for the same period. They use the event to promote both on and off line betting, brand awareness and to achieve various other marketing and P.R objectives. The Festival also has seen race sponsorship from Samsung, EMAP, Audi, Porcelanosa, Polypipe and various other blue chip companies.
