Sponsorship of Sky Showbiz, Weather & Sport content running across 33 shopping malls reaching a huge 7.6m weekly footfall.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

Align your brand to top quality content, and place it on the largest retail screen network in the UK. 7.6m customers per week pass through the Avanti shopping mall network, watching content delivered to them via 650 screens, varying in size from 42" to 103" plasma through to 120" projectors and a giant 12' x 20' LCD in Meadowhall.

What is the Marketing Objective?

Drive positive brand salience by association with good content, and placing it in front of a large high quality audience, with potential to add a proximity marketing angle to the mix.

How does it work?

Each programme 'bulletin' runs 6 x per hour, and is a total of 30" in length. The sponsor will receive 3" of intro and 3" of exit credits within the 30". In addition the sponsor will also receive on air accreditation throughout the bulletin. Each individual sponsorship will deliver 21.9m impacts over a 12 month sponsorship period.

Who's used it in the past?

This is the first time that these packages have been offered. However the following advertisers have used the shopping malls network in the past. Vodafone, T-Mobile, Estee Lauder CKOne, Ford, Warner Bros, M&S, Next and Boots.

This is the first time that Sky content has been broadcast into the mall environment, and offers sponsors a great opportunity to align themselves and their values with quality programming, in a fantastic retail environment. The target audience is high quality (65% ABC1) and high in volume (395m per annum).
