Advertising opportunities available across over a 1,000 BT Internet kiosks nationwide using a 20 second commercial.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

BT's latest offering, over a 1,000 BT Internet/telephone kiosks housed in glass, situated on major street sites throughout the UK (all the 'Travel sites' are completely open and not housed in glass). We offer advertising packages including production for our clients, enabling them to show a 20 second commercial in a relevant universe of kiosks. Internet kiosks are used by millions of people each month. They also attract shoppers, commuters and office workers both male and female as they pass by.

What is the Marketing Objective?

The Internet Kiosks provide both product awareness, as the commercial can be seen both inside and outside the kiosks, and a direct response medium as a user can immediately access an advertiser's website for further information, or use the telephone to access a 'Click to Talk' banner. This is also a very accountable medium with data capture available at the end of each campaign.

How does it work?

When a BT Internet kiosk is not in use, an attractor loop is shown on the screen playing 3 X 20 second commercials a minute, 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. When a user enters the kiosk the attractor loop is the first thing they see. This encourages them to touch the screen to view an advertisers product information. An advertiser's website can then be viewed for free. Advertisers can purchase a campaign of 20 second commercials and/or just banners of different sizes and internal locations and brand the kiosk buttons.

We have created campaigns for a large number of high profile clients, including; London Town, lastminute.com, American Express, Western Union, Frank Drug awareness, educational institutions and charities.
