Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

From Monday 25th June - Sunday 8th July Wimbledon Fever will hit the Capital, as Londoners become transfixed by arguably the world's greatest tennis championship. LBC will ensure Londoners are kept up to date with all the latest twists and turns of the tournament through three daily Wimbledon bulletins. Each bulletin will be brought to listeners by LBC's resident sports reporter Phil Kitromilides. The opportunity exists for a client to sponsor these bulletins, owning Wimbledon coverage on LBC.

How does it work?

Bulletins will run as follows each day: Monday to Friday: Breakfast between 0700-1000 - preview of the day's play. Afternoon 1300 - how the day's play is panning out. Nightly News 1900-1915 - summary of the day. Saturday: Breakfast between 0700-1000 - preview of the days play. Mid Morning 1000-1300 - update as play is about to start Scores. 1500-1800 - how the day is panning out. Sunday: * Breakfast between 0700-1000 - preview of the days play Petrie Hosken 1300-1600 - how the day's play is panning out Emma Barnett1600 -1900 - summary of the day *No bulletins on Sunday 1st

Features / Benefits

Promo trails can encourage listeners to tune in to the bulletins and direct listeners online for their chance to win tickets to the Wimbledon finals/ related prize. The Global Interactive team would also create a web page which could house the competition and provide further information about the client.
