Mission Christmas delivered over £6.8 million in gifts, toys and cash to Children last year.

Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

High profile Christmas campaign which collects toys and gifts for underprivileged children - offering great opportunity to drive footfall to stores as purchase/ collection points and deliver great 'cause related marketing and reputation for associated brands. 'Mission Christmas' along with our partners and supporters we aim to 'make it our mission' to ensure that no child in our local areas goes without gifts and toys at Christmas. We want you to be a part of that mission and be our partner

What is the Marketing Objective?

Major opportunity to drive footfall to stores as purchase/ collection points and deliver great 'cause related marketing' and reputation enhancement for associated brands.

How does it work?

Radio audiences are encouraged to donate a toy or gift and drop it off at a local collection point, or by texting a donation or donating a virtual toy on line - cash is used for gift purchase for babies and teens. It is a huge community focus. We distributed over £6 million in 2012.

Who's used it in the past?

Many major high street brands participate including ASDA, Matalan, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Wilkinsons, Thomas Cook.

Features / Benefits

Over half a million individual toys and gifts were bought and donated in 2012 On air message drives the listeners to the sponsors stores to buy and drop off their gifts.
