Tell us about the Opportunity / What is it?

HISTORY is in over 10 million UK cable and satellite homes and is in the top three in the UK's 13 factual channel brands. 'Hardcore History' delves deep into the past to bring our loyal, passionate viewers the gritty, uncompromising depictions of the truth that HISTORY is so internationally renowned for. Sky Media and AETN UK are pleased to offer an advertiser the opportunity to sponsor the 'HARDCORE HISTORY' package of programming on HISTORY & HISTORY HD which is available as a 12 month sponsorship association.

How does it work?

12 Month sponsorship of 'Hardcore History' content across Prime Time and Daytime. Sponsorship branding would automatically be carried on to HISTORY+1 and HISTORY HD. The majority of programmes on HISTORY are one hour episodes with 3 centre breaks. 12 month sponsorship will offer advertisers a minimum of 520 hours of sponsored content with approximately 4,160 sponsorship credits over the year.

Sponsorship of HISTORY content offers advertisers the opportunity to associate with quality, fact based programming. Advertisers can extend the sponsorship association through promotional on-air trailers, a bespoke online package, e-newsletters to promote the sponsorship association or a competition to win prizes of the sponsor's choice which will be housed online and promoted via e-newsletter.
